Barbados No Pain
The Natural Art “team” has always been defined as an input system. We get feedback from our board riders and we do our best to better their equipment to meet their demands.
The list is pretty extensive over the years, sort of a who's who of incredible talent. Not to disparage any of the great solo acts we have worked with over the years Greg Loehr, Buddy Pelletier or Todd Holland, it seems somehow our surfers usually pair off as traveling buddies at least for a certain time during their development. Bob Rohmann and Lance Crouch, Scotty McRanels and Tim Popfinger, Steve Anest and Dwayne Maki, Danny Melhado and Todd Morcom, even C.J. Hobgood and Damien Hobgood in their younger days. One of our all time great performing traveling acts has to be our longest running one, comprising two of the best performance surfers in the water today: Peter Mendia and Baron Knowlton. It is always good to have a traveling buddy.

Barbados No Pain is a “docu-trip-ilogue” it follows two hot young surfers from the hottest surf talent town in the world, Cocoa Beach Florida. Follow sixteen-year-old Chris Duff on his third trip to Barbados and his fourteen year old “protégé” Dominic Keenan on his first trip. The DVD includes numerous other surfers; Robert Rohmann, Ashley Francis, Christian Marcher and all the surfers in the talent loaded “Independence Pro” surf event held each year in Bathsheba Barbados, including its surprise winner. It was off shore for ten days, a swell (a rather large swell) began showing the morning of the contest, littering each heat with remnants of broken boards. The broken boards, the reef shredded skin, the urchins, nothing seemed to dampen the stoke. Basically: Barbados… No Pain.
